A specialty from Karhula
In 1987, the Karhula plant, as part of the Valmet group, specialized in the service and new manufacturing of deflection compensatedd rolls through considerable investments. Up to now over 450 swimming and zone-controlled rolls and over 200 spare shells have been manufactured and many more rolls have been overhauled and repaired.
Due to the high precision of deflection compensated rolls in particular, a functional test before delivery is extremely important to ensure maximum reliability of the rolls functionalitiy in operation.
For this reason, every roll ist tested on our test bench before delivery.
